I've been an ocean girl for as long as I can remember — always drawn to the sea, the sun, and the warm corners of the world. In my free time you'll find me lost in maps, researching where to go next. Planning a trip somewhere new overwhelms a lot of people. For me it's the opposite — I love every part of the process, and I plan every trip the way I'd want my own planned: nothing left to chance, nothing on the list unless it earns its place. I thrive on culture and the people you meet along the way, and Indonesia especially holds a piece of my heart.
I was born in Slovakia, where I'm based now, and over my thirty years I've also called Iceland home and studied in Denmark for two years — every place taught me something a guidebook never could.
